Hirect Uses Bay Area Digitals to Target Job Seekers

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – As commuters meander through rush hour traffic along US 101 this month, there’s a good chance many will be anxiously shuffling their playlists of soothing ocean waves and placid rainstorms just to get through another day at a lackluster job. Luckily, a solution is now just a glance outside their windshields.

Hirect, a free chat-based hiring platform specifically for startups and job seekers, has strategically dipped its toe into the Bay Area waters with billboards along the major corridor between South San Francisco and San Jose, with plans to dive right in early next year.

“If the Great Resignation has taught us anything, it’s that there are millions of Americans who feel unhappy, undervalued, unchallenged, or undermotivated in their work life,” said Brady Xu, CEO of Hirect U.S. “At the same time, we have countless startups in every sector imaginable eagerly hunting for top talent. Whether you’re hiring for your young business or looking to shake up your mundane 9 to 5 – we can help.”

In the U.S., startups less than a year old have accounted for more than three million jobs in each of the last six years.

The billboards – located along US 101 near the San Francisco International Airport, just north of Redwood City, and near the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport – are just the opening salvo for Hirect, with a larger grassroots campaign to reach millions of Bay Area residents in the New Year.

With the traditional hiring process in the U.S. taking nearly 24 days on average, Hirect’s use of AI and in-app direct messaging and video call features connect job seekers and hiring managers instantly, reducing the hiring time to just a few days.

“We’re the new kid on the block, but we hope job seekers and founders are intrigued by what they see through this campaign,” added Xu. “The startup sector is booming; add to the mix emerging industries like blockchain and crypto and the opportunities are limitless. If someone doesn’t know where to start, just download the app, explore your matches, and chat immediately.”
