Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day!  Here are just a few of the Father/Son and Father/Daughter teams in the out of home business.

Josh Smith and his son Gideon Smith, Advert Outdoor

Josh says you can’t start much younger than this!

Randy Burkett of Burkett Outdoor and his son Beau Burkett of Burkett Media.

Randy says this: “At 18 years old Beau took to outdoor like a duck to water.  Best money I ever spent was loaning him the money to buy a billboard company when he was 18 and a freshman in college.  He sold it for a profit a year later and the rest is history.  He’s never had a partner including me.  He has www.BurkettMedia.com and I’m www.BurkettOutdoor.com.  Our wives are the only partners.  LOL”

Travis Rhodes and his Dad Dick Rhodes,  Dusty’s Outdoor Media

Travis says, “here is a pic of dad & I right around the time I went to work for him and he closed on his first big acquisition of Reading Outdoor in Southern Illinois.”

Mason Vick and his Dad Grey Vick of Grey Outdoor.

Grey says, “here is Mason’s first build !  He is turning 3 tomorrow and he says “I’m gonna build a big company.”

Brent Porlier and his daughter Melissa Porlier, Porlier Outdoor.

Melissa says: “This is a photo of my Dad and I, at my son’s baptism.”  Looks like there’s a new generation of Porliers to enter the business.

Chris Rothfelder and his Dad Richard Rothfelder, Rothfelder and Falick.

Chris says “I’m wearing the SignAd hat in the dove hunting photo.”

Amber Williamson Galunas and  her Dad Marty Williamson, Williamson & Associates.

Amber says: “The first picture is me sitting on the truck after watching my Dad or someone on his team do an install for his old company, Williamson Outdoor. Second photo is current of the two of us as business partners in Williamson & Associates which provides out of home brokerage and advisory services. Certainly special to grow up immersed in the billboard industry the way many of us have.”
