Gemini Rents Columbus Circle Billboard for 3 Years

Gemini and Vector Media have come to an agreement where Gemini has purchased the iconic digital billboard at 3 Columbus Circle for a 3-year term. This will mark the longest OOH buy Gemini has made to date. The billboard was the former home to the CNN logo.

If you’ve walked by Columbus Circle in Manhattan this week, just south of Central Park on 57th Street in New York City, you may have noticed a mysterious billboard displaying individual words and phrases such as “electronic,” “a solution” and “are lost” with little explanation.

On Monday, October 25th, Gemini quietly started to display words, still unbranded. This under the radar campaign started with the words “Hello, World.” As part of the advertising campaign, 105 words from the Satoshi Bitcoin Whitepaper abstract will be displayed on the digital billboard throughout the week. Additionally, there are 105 uniquely AI created NFTs, each Edition of 1, of the words on the billboard. An auction of the NFTs commenced on October 25th, with open bidding starting at 9AM Monday, 10/25/21 — Bidding Ended at 11:59PM Sunday, 10/31/21 (the 13th Anniversary of the White paper).

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to charity.  Link to Auction: https://nftbillboard.nyc/.
