American Digital Outdoor, LLC. dba ADO Florida operates a digital billboard plant in Lee County, Florida. The company is based in North Fort Myers, Florida.  Clark Richards is the firm’s president.  He started ADO Florida in addition to  a career which included stints as a municipal building and zoning executive.  Richards also operates Clark Richards & Associates, a real estate/construction/expert witness consultancy and Coconut Grove Construction Corp, a general contracting and roofing company.

Clark, how did you decide to get into the out of home advertising business.
The company was started due to a fascination with digital LED technology which allows small operators to enter the market without the operating issues of producing static or tri-face billboards.

Tell us about your plant.

We are a small local company which caters to national brands and local businesses.  We use our billboards to give back to our community by sponsoring and supporting local charitable events and the arts.

Whose digital billboards do you use and what have you learned?
